As a Creative Writing Evaluator, you'll dive deep into AI's creative outputs, acting as the ultimate arbiter of quality. Your role is crucial in teaching AI the subtleties of human expression, ensuring its stories possess originality, a distinct voice, and a compelling narrative arc that moves audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth qualitative analysis of AI-generated creative texts (fiction, poetry, scripts).
Evaluate outputs for originality, cliché detection, and the presence of a unique authorial voice.
Assess narrative structure, pacing, character consistency, and plot development against established literary standards.
Provide detailed, constructive feedback on emotional resonance, thematic depth, and overall artistic merit.
Benchmark AI performance against human-written exemplars across various genres and styles.
Identify and categorize common AI pitfalls in creative generation, informing model improvements.
Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Literature, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related field.
Proven experience in literary criticism, editorial review, or creative writing mentorship.
Exceptional analytical skills with a strong understanding of narrative theory and literary devices.
Ability to articulate nuanced feedback clearly and concisely, both written and verbally.
Familiarity with different creative writing genres, from speculative fiction to lyrical poetry.
Previous experience evaluating AI-generated content or working with LLMs is a plus.
