3D Modeling & Rendering Expert
Job Description
The frontier of AI-generated 3D content is exploding, but quality control remains paramount. Your discerning eye and deep technical expertise in 3D modeling and rendering will be critical in refining AI outputs, ensuring they meet professional standards for topology, texturing, and photorealistic quality.
Key Responsibilities
Rigorously evaluate AI-generated 3D models for mesh integrity, polygon count optimization, and clean topology.
Assess the quality of AI-applied textures, including UV mapping, material properties (PBR), and resolution.
Analyze rendering outputs for lighting consistency, shadow accuracy, and overall photorealism or stylistic coherence.
Identify common artifacts, geometric distortions, or illogical material applications in AI-produced assets.
Provide detailed, actionable feedback to improve AI's ability to generate high-fidelity and production-ready 3D content.
Categorize and tag 3D assets based on complexity, style, and potential use cases for training datasets.
Ideal Qualifications
5• years of professional experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and rendering for games, film, or product design.
Expert proficiency in industry-standard software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, ZBrush, or Substance Painter.
Deep understanding of 3D pipeline concepts, including retopology, normal mapping, and physically based rendering (PBR).
Strong aesthetic sense and critical eye for visual fidelity and technical correctness in 3D assets.
Experience with various rendering engines (e.g., Cycles, V-Ray, Arnold, Unreal Engine) is a plus.
Ability to clearly articulate technical feedback and identify root causes of AI generation errors.
