Contracts are the backbone of commerce, and AI's ability to accurately draft, negotiate, and interpret them is transformative. Your meticulous expertise in contract law will be essential in reviewing and creating training data, ensuring AI systems can handle the nuances of commercial agreements with precision, speed, and reliability. This role is crucial for developing AI tools that empower businesses and legal professionals worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Rigorously review and validate AI-generated contract drafts, clauses, and summaries for legal accuracy, completeness, and enforceability across various commercial contexts.
Create high-quality training data sets by annotating diverse contract types (e.g., MSAs, NDAs, SaaS agreements, employment contracts) with key provisions, risks, and legal interpretations.
Develop scenarios and prompts to test AI's ability to identify contractual obligations, rights, breaches, and potential liabilities.
Provide detailed feedback to AI developers on model shortcomings in contract drafting, negotiation strategy, and risk identification.
Ensure AI's understanding of common contractual boilerplate, industry-specific clauses, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
Ideal Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Minimum of 4• years of experience specializing in contract law, commercial transactions, or corporate law.
Proven expertise in drafting, negotiating, and interpreting a wide range of commercial agreements.
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills in identifying legal risks and ambiguities in contractual language.
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) principles and common legal tech tools.
Strong written communication skills to provide clear, constructive feedback and create accurate training data.
