Job Description
AI's capacity to drive business success hinges on its ability to accurately measure and interpret performance. As a Business Performance Analyst, you will be the arbiter of truth for AI-generated insights, ensuring its recommendations are grounded in robust metrics and strategic understanding.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI outputs related to Key Performance Indicator (KPI) definition, tracking, and dashboard visualization for various business functions.
Assess the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated analyses on operational efficiency, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV).
Provide detailed feedback on AI's ability to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights from complex datasets.
Develop benchmark datasets and performance scenarios for AI to analyze, covering areas like sales forecasting, marketing ROI, and supply chain optimization.
Validate AI's understanding of different business models and their corresponding critical metrics (e.g., SaaS metrics, e-commerce conversion rates).
Refine AI's explanations of performance drivers and its recommendations for strategic adjustments based on data.
Ideal Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or performance management.
Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker, and advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization best practices.
Experience defining and tracking KPIs across various departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance).
Familiarity with SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or R for data manipulation and analysis.
Ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
