As an Audio Transcription Specialist, your meticulous attention to detail will be paramount in converting diverse audio recordings into precise text, enabling AI to comprehend, process, and generate human language flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Transcribe audio recordings with exceptional accuracy, capturing every spoken word, pause, and non-speech event (e.g., laughter, coughs) as per guidelines.
Accurately identify and differentiate between multiple speakers in complex conversational audio.
Apply correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting rules, ensuring the transcribed text is clean and readable.
Handle diverse audio content, including technical discussions, accented speech, and varying audio qualities.
Adhere strictly to project-specific style guides and formatting requirements.
Review and proofread own work to ensure the highest level of accuracy and completeness before submission.
Ideal Qualifications
Proven experience in audio transcription, with a portfolio showcasing high accuracy rates.
Exceptional listening skills and a keen ear for detail, including distinguishing accents and nuances in speech.
Native-level fluency in English (or specified language) with excellent grammar and punctuation skills.
Proficiency with transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, oTranscribe) and strong typing speed (minimum 60 WPM).
Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines for high-volume audio.
Experience with technical or specialized subject matter transcription is a significant plus.
