The cosmos holds boundless mysteries, and AI can help us unravel them. As an Astronomy Expert, you will be instrumental in expanding AI's understanding of the universe, curating and evaluating content that spans celestial mechanics, cosmic evolution, and the latest astrophysical discoveries.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine Q&A pairs covering fundamental concepts in celestial mechanics, planetary science, and stellar evolution.
Create detailed explanations for complex astrophysical phenomena such as black holes, neutron stars, supernovae, and active galactic nuclei.
Evaluate AI-generated content on cosmology, including the Big Bang theory, dark matter, dark energy, and the structure of the universe.
Formulate and solve problems related to astronomical observations, instrumentation, and data interpretation.
Evaluate and categorize astronomical images and data, providing context and scientific explanations for AI training.
Provide expert feedback on AI's ability to explain current astronomical research and open questions in the field.
Ideal Qualifications
PhD or Master's degree in Astronomy, Astrophysics, or a closely related field. Exceptional Olympiad participants with deep knowledge are also encouraged.
Comprehensive understanding of observational astronomy, theoretical astrophysics, and cosmology.
Experience with astronomical data analysis or research is highly desirable.
Ability to clearly articulate complex scientific concepts for a diverse audience.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to scientific accuracy.
Familiarity with astronomical coordinate systems and basic celestial mechanics calculations.
