As a Software Expert (CAD & Engineering), you will bridge this gap, ensuring AI can accurately and efficiently produce solutions for critical engineering and design workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate AI-generated scripts and macros for CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor, ensuring functional correctness and design intent.
Assess the accuracy and validity of AI-produced code for engineering simulations using tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or ANSYS.
Provide expert feedback on AI's ability to interpret and generate solutions for complex mathematical modeling and numerical analysis tasks.
Create specialized training data, including instruction-response pairs for parametric design, finite element analysis (FEA), and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
Debug and refine AI-generated code for technical computing environments, ensuring robust error handling and performance.
Analyze AI's understanding of engineering principles, material properties, and industry-specific standards in its code outputs.
Ideal Qualifications
8• years of experience in mechanical, civil, or aerospace engineering with a strong programming background.
Expert proficiency in at least two major CAD software packages (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor).
Advanced skills in MATLAB/Simulink for numerical computation, data analysis, and system simulation.
Experience with scripting languages relevant to CAD (e.g., AutoLISP, VBA for SolidWorks, Python for Fusion 360).
Strong understanding of engineering principles, physics, and mathematical modeling.
Familiarity with FEA, CFD, or other simulation software is highly desirable.
